ALLOW US TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES

Exterra has been founded in 2003 as an independent research institute specialised in concrete technology. Field of expertise includes everything related to: the materials used in concrete, concrete mix composition, casting of fresh concrete, testing properties of wet concrete and hardened concrete, and quality control. Examples of activities Exterra can perform are to:

• establish a quality system for CE marking and KOMO-certificate.

• perform quality control (at site) on the materials, wet concrete and hardened concrete.

• design mixes with certain (special) properties (self-compacting concrete, heavy concrete, light concrete, etc.)

• test (new) materials and identify potential applications of these materials in concrete.

• advise on all issues related to concrete technology and concrete.

Exterra has its own certified laboratory in Schaijk (The Netherlands) to perform tests on materials and concrete. Many of the tests can also be performed at site.
